TSPD003

The TSPD003 is a CO₂ gas detection sensor based on the photoacoustic spectroscopy (PAS) effect, integrating a blackbody chip, a high-sensitivity microphone, and an MCU controller. The blackbody chip emits infrared radiation at a specific wavelength; within the relatively sealed photoacoustic cell, this infrared light is resonantly absorbed by CO₂ molecules, generating a weak pressure signal. The high-sensitivity microphone detects pressure variations inside the photoacoustic cell, and the built-in MCU algorithm processes these signals to output the current CO₂ concentration.

Product Overview

The TSPD003 is a CO₂ gas detection sensor based on the photoacoustic spectroscopy (PAS) effect, integrating a blackbody chip, a high-sensitivity microphone element, and an MCU controller. The blackbody chip emits infrared radiation at a specific wavelength; within the relatively sealed photoacoustic cell, this infrared light is resonantly absorbed by CO₂ molecules, generating a weak pressure signal. A high-sensitivity microphone detects the pressure variations in the photoacoustic cell, and the built-in MCU algorithm processes these signals to output the current CO₂ concentration.

The TSPD003 features a compact form factor, and its external MCU can communicate with the device via either the I²C or UART interface to read the CO₂ concentration output or to configure the device.
